I recently quit a job after 3 months, how do I explain this?

I recently quit a job after 3 months. Everyone was unhappy there, we worked insane hours, had unhappy clients and I was not proud of the work we were doing. How do I explain this on a resume?

Answer: Your situation and reasons for leaving cannot really be explained on a resume. If anything, you might talk about it in a cover letter. But honestly, I think I might wait for an opportunity to discuss it face to face in an interview. In person, it will be much easier for you to communicate with accuracy, about this rather touchy situation.

If you feel you must address it in order to even get to the interview stage, then the place to do it is in your cover letter, and I'd be as honest, direct, and unemotional as you can.
