Looking for a chronological resume template? Great! We have just the downloadable resume template you need to make a great chronological resume!
On this page, you'll find free resume templates (MS Word) in the chronological format. This is not the right resume format for everyone, but it is the most commonly one used today and what job recruiters are most used to looking at.
If you're not sure this is the right resume format for you, see Choosing a Resume Format. But if you are satisfied that you want to prepare your resume in this format, then start downloading!
Most of our free resume templates are in MS Word template format. (But you can use Word files in the free Open Office software too.) However, this one is actually in Open Office Writer template format. You'll need Open Office to open it, but then it's just point and click... pretty cool. If you don't have Open Office, then you can still download the file below, but you'll have to use the file that's in *.doc format, rather than the *.ott formatted one.
To download the chronological resume template, just right click on the link and choose "Save Target As." Make sure you choose a folder on your hard drive to store it in that you'll remember.
So, you see you really can write a resume for free with these free resume templates!
