Use a functional resume template like the ones we have here to make writing a skills resume a snap. Functional resume writing can be tricky to do well.
If you're looking for fill-in-the-blank resume templates, you've come to the right place. Right now, we're still building our collection, so please stop back and visit often to see what we've added.
Or, skip the issue of finding a template altogether... To create & distribute professional resumes and cover letters that will help you get your next job, I highly recommend this online resume builder
On this page, we have downloadable resume templates (MS Word) in the functional format. This is not the right format for everyone, but if you have large gaps in your work history, are changing careers, or are brand new to the workforce, it might present you in a more favorable light than the chronological format. If you're not sure this is the right format for you, see Choosing the Right Resume Format.
But if you are satisfied that you want to prepare functional resumes, then start downloading!
All of our templates are in MS Word template format. (But you can use Word files in the free Open Office software too.) To download, just right click and choose "Save Target As" or "Save Link As". Make sure you choose a folder on your hard drive to store it in that you'll remember.
Another Option: If you're looking for another source of downloadable resume templates and you want a little more help with functional resume writing, I highly recommend you check out this online resume builder website, where you'll not only find functional resume templates, but also an easy-to-use interface that enables you to create and submit your resume and a cover letter. There's a super cool free trial too.
Hopefully, you've found a functional resume template that will work for you here, but if not, feel free to enter something like "downloadable resume template" in the search box below to see what Google can find for you!
