How Do I Show Travel Nursing Positions in My Resume?

by Craig
(Somewhere)

I have been a nurse for 8 years, had multiple travel nursing positions with different companies. If I included all my jobs, my resume would be more than 2 pages.

If I don't include all my jobs, there would be gaps in my employment history. what should I do?

Group Them by Employer
by: Kathi

I assume the travel nursing jobs were through a travel nurse employment agency? If so, you just list them as your employer. In the bullets underneath, you can list some of the locations/positions that you were placed at. Like this:

XYZ Travel Nurse Agency June 2001 through present
Travel Nurse

** Assignments all over the world in various nursing positions in a wide variety of health care institutions. Examples include: Evening charge nurse in a burn unit in Good Samaritan Hospital (San Francisco, CA), Home health nurse for Boston VNA (Boston, MA), Clinic nurse for Honduras Medical Clinic (Honduras). Assignments generally lasted from 3 to 6 months.

Does that make sense?

Best,
Kathi
