How Do I Make a Good Resume?

I am a Canadian that has been teaching Conversational English in China for five years
Here it is different than in the west. Here they want to know everything about you. In the west it is Keep it simple. I don't know how to write a good resume for western companies any more.

As well I am trying to break into freelance writing on the web, but don't know how to make a good resume.
