Mention It on Both Your Resume & Cover Letter
by: Kathi

Natalie, This situation needs to be dealt with both on your resume AND your cover letter. On your resume, list the schooling under your Education section, but note something like "30 credits towards a BS in Biology degree". That way, you show in a nutshell what you've already accomplished. If you received any particular certifications or honors, list them there too.

Next, in your cover letter, deal with the fact that your degree is incomplete and that you're not sure when you'll finish, mentioning why you quit college, if you can. But put a positive spin on it by pointing out what you DID learn in the time you were in school. And be prepared to answer questions about this issue in the job interview!
