Can You Help Me With This Interview Question?

I'm applying for a daycare job and I'm not sure how to answer the question, "Why do you feel you qualify for the job?". Can you help?

ANSWER: Latrice... Thanks for posting your question here! However, it's kind of hard for me to suggest answers to this question since I know nothing about you or your situation.

But I can tell you that what the employer is looking for with this sort of question is your assessment of your skills, strengths and value to the organization. If you have relevant experience, then certainly talk about your achievements there. If you don't, then you'll need to speak to related skills. This is your opportunity to toot your own horn and brag a little. Don't waste it!
