Where can I find info on my employment history?

by Henry Diaz
(Kennewick, WA)

What would be the best website to get my employment history?

ANSWER: Henry, I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Although in many ways it may seem like we live in the era of "Big Brother," as far as I know, there is no one place where we can go and retrieve each individual's employment history.

These are records we should all be keeping for ourselves. You should keep records of your start and end dates at employers, your position title and info about the job you did each time, as well as employer name, address and phone number. Oh, and your supervisors' names too.

If you don't have those records, then you're going to have to do your own research to pull them together.
