Do you have to say "on line" in the description? For example, A Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida (mostly an online degree with a few face-to-face courses). Do you need to specify that the courses/degree were taken online, that it was an online degree? If so, how do you list it on a resume? Thank you!
ANSWER: I don't think it's necessary to even mention it, unless for some reason you want to emphasize the fact that it was an online course of study (because, for example, you want to demonstrate online skills). My husband got his masters in education through an online program from an accredited institution, and he has never mentioned the online component in his resumes. If necessary, you could mention it in your cover letter, but honestly, I just don't think it's necessary.
