What do you put on your resume when you move companies but they are in the same building and have the same job description?

I moved in the same company 3 times so I don't know how to include 2 of them because they are the exact same job description just with different companies. How should I handle this situation on my resume?


Answer: Micheal, I think you'd be best served by a combination resume format, where you can list your skills and achievements up front, followed by a brief work history.

I'd probably list the jobs as though they were separate jobs, to ease the hiring manager's ability to check dates of employment, etc. But then in the cover letter you could explain that these moves were all within the same overall company. I guess you could also note a parent company next to each employer name on the resume as well...
