Should I mention I worked for a family owned business?

The past 30 years I have worked for 3 companies that are family owned. Should I mention that under each work experience on my resume?

ANSWER: I'm not sure I understand why you are asking this. It doesn't seem relevant to me in any way to a job search, but perhaps there is some benefit or skill you hope to communicate by sharing that?

I don't think that you should be mentioning that. This is because the employer might not feel safe with you. What I mean is aural training that, he might even thing that you may not stay in the company for long as you might take up your family business again.

I think it is better to you mentioning that you have worked for a family owned business. Sometimes it will be helpful when you have considered when they ask your experience. So I recommend you to include this factor. hawaii tech support
