Should I list an employer twice in a chronological resume?

by Kaile
(Noblesville, IN)

I worked for my current employer part-time from 2002 to 2007, left the company from 2007 to 2009 but worked other jobs, then returned to that employer in 2009 to present. What is the best way to show this on my resume?

Answer: Jobs should always be listed sequentially in reverse chronological order. So, yes, the employer would be listed twice, in your case.
