Should I identify the names of the client companies I have worked with while in my current job?

I am working for a company now, serving some different clients and my experience with those specific clients is quite relevant. Should I identify the specific client I have worked with in my resume or use a generic term such as 'Global Retail Software Company'?

Answer: Chris... Unless the information that you worked with those companies is confidential, I definitely would include it somewhere, perhaps in a paragraph on the cover letter. You want to do anything that will add to your credibility, as long as you are not in violation of any confidentiality agreements.
