Should I Show Multiple Colleges Attended on My Resume?
Over the course of my college career, I attended 4 different colleges. After the first year at my first major university, I developed kidney stones so I went back home, and attended a community college.
Then, while at my second major university, which I attended for about 1.5yrs, I then developed kidney stones again and left that university to live at home again.
At this point, my parents had moved, so I took classes at yet another community college. Currently I am at a major university near home and about to graduate.
My question to you is... how bad does this look when I list all these universities and community colleges on my resume and is there anything I can do?
How to list multiple schools in applications/resume
I have attended a couple of colleges in the past, and received a degree in at one. How do I list my education? Thank you.
ANSWER: Just list each of the schools attended in your resume, with the number of credits achieved at each (or the course of study, if it varied). If you feel you need to explain it further, do so in the cover letter.
