How Do I Show Temporary Promotions at an Employer?.

by Melissa
(Florida)

I have worked with the same company for the past 8 years and throughout that time I have 'Acted' in more prominent positions at different times. The position that I have Acted in is now vacant. I'm not sure how to incorporate the acting arrangements element in the resume.

For instance, I have acted as a Data Analyst for the periods: May 2006 - September 2006; December 2006 - April 2007; July 2008 - November 2008(notice the breaks
in the period of acting).

How do I include these multiple time periods without repeating the job title, job description, etc.

Thank you very much.
Melissa

by Lauren

What should you put down for previous employment if you haven't really had any aside from babysitting, or house cleaning, or doing office work for your mother even if you got paid for it, is it professional to write that down or is it better left blank?

How should I write a resume when I've been at the same job the past 12 years?

by Salvador
(Chicago, IL USA)

I am going through a career change. I've been at the same job for the past 12 years. It would seem to me jobs I've had before then would be obsolete. Not to mention I don't know who to include in my references section. If you have any ideas, would love to know. Thanks.
