How Should I Describe Non-Degree College Coursework?
by: Anonymous

On my resume, in the Education section, it states, "Coursework in (name of major), (Name of School), Dates attended)"

Example:
Coursework in Visual Communication, Purdue University, 2001 - 2003

Then the potential employer knows what school you attended, what you were studying, and when you attended.

Patti, I think I would list them as "Additional College-Level Coursework", without specifying where you attended. In your cover letter, you can mention the names of the schools attended, if it makes sense, or just wait for a question to come up at the interview.
