How Do I Title My Career Change Resume?

by Anonymous

If I am seeking a career change from teaching to secretarial, what would I title my resume? I've been a teacher for 10 years and am seeking to change careers.

I would like to go into a clerical or secretarial position, even if i have to start out at an entry level position. How would I write this on my resume? What would I title my resume?

I'm not sure what you mean by a title for your resume. Most just say Resume or your name at the top.

Your objective/summary can mention that you're seeking a career change. Also, in the cover letter, I'd explain what you did here about making the change and willingness to start at the bottom.

In the interview, be prepared to answer why.
