How do I show I am in the process of getting my professional license?

I am applying to several jobs, some asking for professional licensure. I am scheduled to take the exam, but the deadlines are soon. I want to apply to the jobs still, how do I show that I am scheduled for the exam on my resume?

Answer: Malcolm, I think I would just state under the Education section on your resume that your licensure is pending, with a tentative date. Then, in your cover letter, you can explain that you are scheduled to take the exam.
