How do I list the time period of a degree that I never completed?

by Genevie
(Atlanta, GA)

Hello... Whilst living in NY, I was working towards completing my bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, when the opportunity came up for me to move to Atlanta.

I had only one semester remaining before I moved. I do plan on completing my bachelors degree next year at Georgia State University. How do I list the time period of my degree completion on my resume? Should I list it as below?

8/05-Date Pending New York City College of Technology (City Tech) - Brooklyn, NY
Major: Hospitality Management
Working towards a Bachelors of Technology in Hospitality Management Expected December 2011

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Answer: Genevie, what you've listed above looks pretty good, except that I wouldn't list the "to" date for NYC CoT as pending. I'd list when you stopped going. Then list Georgia State separately, with the "working towards..." language. Make sense?
