How Do I List Employment When My Employer Was Bought Out Several Times?

by Nan
(GA)

I have worked in the same location in different capacities for over ten years, but the company name has changed numerous times and has switched ownership three times. I want to properly reflect the name of the company when I held various positions, but I also want to ensure that the viewer of my resume knows that I have been a loyal employee and haven't willingly switched employers every 2 years.

Do you have any advice on how to illustrate other than: "Position X, Company ABC (Formerly DEF, previously XYZ)"?

Thanks for posting your question, Nan! Clearly, this is not an unusual occurrence, since I had to create a separate category just for these types of questions. And, in fact, this question has already been asked... and answered... several times already.

Check out these pages to see if anything there can help you (I really don't think I can add much more):
