How do I list 4 different job titles while working for the same company?

by Gwen
(Highland, IN)

I worked for the same company for 10 years, during which I had 4 separate job titles, ranging from typist to general manager. I want to list each of the positions on my resume, as I acquired new skills at each. What's the best way to do that?

How do I list 4 different job titles while working for the same company? NEW
by: Anonymous

I have the same situation, except I also worked part-time somewhere else. How do I list this? Do I put all the jobs under the same company and the the other two under company B? But then they are not relly in chronologically order timewise.

Just List Them!
by: Kathi

Hi Gwen... Good for you, progressing as you did! I think this one is easy. I'd list the employer at the top, and then have 4 separate entries all under that employer, separated in reverse chronological order by dates in the position and position title, with a bulleted list of all your achievements in each position, of course.

It'll look like 4 different jobs (which it basically is), but all under one employer heading. If you think it isn't clear, then put a short explanation in the cover letter.

Good luck,
Kathi
