How do I indicate I am currently enrolled in a project management course on my resume?

by Peggy
(Boston, MA)

I have several years in the financial services industry and several roles. I unfortunately never obtained a college degree, so I do not have a separate section for education.

I am attending a project management course at the local university which will provide a certificate upon completion. Should I include this on the resume and if so, how best to include it?
Your assistance is appreciated.

Answer: Every resume should have a section on education, even if you never attended college. Definitely include your high school, so you can show that you ARE a high school graduate. But for you now, the Education section is a place where you can show coursework like this.

Your listing might look something like this:

XYZ University, Project Management Certification, completion pending February 2011

You might also want to include how many credit hours are involved.
