How can I state in a positive way that I lost my job when the jobs were sent overseas?

I lost my job of 6 years in November 2009 due to the company being purchased by a company in India. As a result of the purchase my department was released and the jobs were sent to India.

I would like to have the ability to provide a prospective employer a positive answer to the reply of "why did I leave my last position." Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Wow... I don't think this is a hard one at all, Zanetta. Just be honest. It's no fault of yours that the company transferred its jobs to another country, and it won't reflect badly on you. It's just business. So just be straight about what happened.
