Honesty Is Usually Best, But...

This is an interesting question. I nearly always advise complete honesty because it's been my experience that lies can come back to haunt you. However, in this case, since the job was so short-lived and did not result in an employment gap, you could probably get away with not mentioning it.

As to whether you were fired, I would say if they allowed you to turn in a resignation (even if it was pretty much forced), then you don't have to call it being fired.

Hopefully, you can learn something from the experience.
